Anti-Depressants and Pain Meds

Hi Ladies, I'm 6 weeks pre-op and I was wondering if there's anyone that can tell me about their experience with pain meds and anesthesia while taking anti-depressants. Any information will be greatly appreciated!

I take Wellbutrin 300 mg XL and 10 mg Buspar, and I had no reaction with pain meds or anesthesia. I don;t know if this helps. Good Luck

Ooops, forgot to add, my doc wanted me to take these up until and the day of my surgery.

I am on Zoloft and had no problems. I was able to take meds the day of surgery, guess it just depends on the type. Ask your Dr. Good luck!!

I took my Lexapro on my regular schedule before and after my hyster. No problems at all.

Same here - Wellbutrin 150SR. Never missed a day. I haven't noticed any difference in that department at all.
