HysterSisters Meet-Ups and Events?

I'd love to meet my Sisters!!

With all the love and support I've gotten - you bet I'd come to an event in my area! Doreen (9*16*08 Abdominal)

So how do we go about getting a meet up together?

I would love to meet any and all of the Sisters who have given me such great support over the last few years! Yay Hystersisters!

Do you know yet where this will be held?

A hystersisters meetup would be so fun.
Thanks for considering doing this I would definitely plan to attend in one in Virginia or travel to attend one somewhere else.

For those asking, we are planning them for our 2009 calendar. We just wanted to gauge interest before we proceeded. Now that we know that there is interest, we will be working on the calendar and will notify everyone as the plans expand.

We will be keeping the poll going through the end of this month with a new poll next month.

Yes, yes, yes! Baltimore MD area, please! As long as its not right after my surgery date (Dec. 9)! Support from wonderful special man not enough, I need to be around other women who know what its like!

Annalee - You're right - I couldn't have gone through it (9/16) without my husband. You need to go to the post surgery threads and read up on what to do now. My advice ..... but bigger panties, cook food in advance so all you have to do is unfreeze and nuke it and buy a stool softener now so that it will be waiting for you at home. The support I've gotten here from my "sisters" has gotten me through this. It's been educational, and I don't know how to explain what it's meant! I've never met my hystersisters - but I know they'll be a part of my life now forever. They're the best pain medication I've had. I'd be willing to fly out of state to get together with these ladies - you will too. Doreen in Miami
