Still searching for a GYN...

to treat abnormal bleeding.

I am at my wits end. When my 1st doctor gave me hysterectomy as an option i sought a second opinion. I had no idea that the doctors I went to covered for one another. The second doctor gave me an option the first did not "cryoblation", I also asked about supracervial laparscopic hysterectomy which is what the first doctor gave as an option. The second doctor said " I don't do "supracervial laparscopic hysterectomy" and leave the cervix. Both my ovaries and cervix have been declared healthy. So when the cryoblation didn't work I went back to Doctor # 1. I asked questions, took my husband so that he also would understand the procedure. When a week went by and we didn't hear from her, I called the office the receptionist said she never got my chart to schedule. She said she would talk to the doctor and have her call me. I still haven't heard. is this normal?

I have a real bad feeling about all of this....
Both doctors have websites and they make is seem so simple....b/c of the bleeding i lost my job....my "bleeding" condition did not go over well at work...Help

I think that sometimes doctors get so busy that they do forget things. I've had to call and remind mine sometimes. I think that I would call the office again and give another reminder that you're waiting for answers. Try to be patient ( hard sometimes, I know ) and don't assume the worse. I've found that it's usually just that they're busy and it can take time when they have to communicate with each other before they get back to us.
