Swelly belly band for vaginal hysterectomy recovery?

I am having a VH on 12/12 and was wondering if I need to purchase the Swelly Belly band. Can anyone help me? Thanks for your suggestions and Good Luck to all of you going before me and after!

I just wore support underwear and lyrica tights for extra support for going out and about and found this very effective.

I had a TAH, so not sure with yours. But can tell you the ladies in the hyster store are absolute dolls and ship the band ASAP! So, if you do need it you can get it quickly.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I think I will just wait until after surgery. If I need anything, I just might have enough stuff to make do.
