pain at the injection site of spinal or epidural anesthesia

Hi all, I am 7 wks post op (TAH/BSO) and still have pain (when I bent) at the injection site (lower back spine) of my anesthesia. Not sure if I had spinal or epidural anesthesia but I know that I had an injection in my back because I had a band aids at this location when I woke up and notice this pain the following day of my surgery. So wonder if anyone is experiencing this and how long it will last.

I am sorry you are still having pains in the back area, could it be from the position you are sleeping in? I would mention it to your doctor when you see him again and see what he says. I had epidural and I have not experienced any pain or discomfort, only the usual tiredness when I over do things, but this happened to me before surgery anyway.....

I had back pain and also expirianced some back spasims for like 3months post op!! And then it got better!! I told my gyn and she just kinda blew it off like it was nothing! So I dunno! But hope you get to feelin beTter! Take care!
