Six months and not feeling good

You might want to check with your doctor... I too cannot eat what I used to... everything turns to gas, but some are worse than others...and I stilll have pain in my lower left side.. The doc told me at my last appt (1 wk ago) that it was probably the side they used the retractor on..
Are you getting some exercise? I was also told that I need to try harder and not eat as much. Good luck to you

Six months and not feeling good

I have been feeling the same way for the past 3 weeks. I'm about the same point in recovery. I'm waiting for a new referral to my gyn, can't believe I need a new referral and have to wait for a month for an ultrasound too. I have a lot of pain on my left side suddenly, doc thinks I mite have a cyst on my ovary, I don't know, I sure hope not as I've had enough!

Six months and not feeling good

I finally forced myself - and I mean forced myself - to go work out one half hour every morning on the treadmill and exercise bike. I HATE EXERCISE but I am feeling so much better - my mood is a lot happier, I handle stress better and my swelly belly is not as big. I can see such a difference that it makes it easier to get up and get out to the gym every morning. And, it helps the gas, too!

Six months and not feeling good

I agree, the only way to get your stamina back is to exercise! My Dr. is very pro exercise and had me walking for a minimum of 30 minutes even in the hospital! Now at 7 weeks I walk for 45 minutes twice a day and am easing back into my weights. My Dr says the only way to get better is to walk, walk some more, take a short rest and then walk again!

I am 100% positive that this is why I have had such an easy recovery and have not really been tired at all, even in the beginning. I was doing laps around my huge yard the day after I came home from a TAH.

Try it, it will make a huge difference in how you feel!

Six months and not feeling good

Hi blacksand,
I am just recently starting to get back to normal. It has been six months for me too and am still fatigued and emotional. But I see it getting better each day but very slowly. I think it is because I am finally figuring out the right hormone balance. I believe that once I fine tune it - things will be so much better.
