Intercourse, do we lose muscle tone?

Did anyone have the feeling that the muscles have went kapoot in the area? I haven't done keigels during my recovery because initially it was uncomfortable. Everything worked normally I just felt like either there is very little muscle control or everything is numb can't figure out which it is. My husband wasn't much help he was snoring ten minutes later lol. He ask me if I was okay and I told him I just felt weird, his comment was "well you don't feel weird to me". Guess I should just break down and ask him but not sure I want to hear the answer. If you had this feeling, does it go away in time?

Well, I am only 3 weeks post TVH and the swelling is finally going down, down yonder. I think it will just take time. By the way it felt post-op they really...how should I say this.....make access and seeing in there as good as possible with contractors. I felt like I delivered a big baby
I have only had one sm-med sized baby 22 years ago so that doesn't help them, or me for that surgery type. I don't think they will even attempt a TVH in someone who has never had a vag-delivery.
I can do kegels, almost feels normal now.
I would ask your GYN though.

I'm now 5 months post op, and I started doing keigels within hours of getting out of the op itself - shocked the world out of the doc's that i was doing them so soon (and they were actually pleased that I was doing them so soon - since I was told that I would have been told to start doing them as soon as possible to start with).

Anyhow, my mate says things are rather tight down there - if anything I need to work to have it relaxed a little more, chuckles. And yes I have asked him how it feels down there, since it does feel very different inside when he is there. I don't feel him like I use to but its not an issues since he knows well enough how to make me feel him.

I think this is what I am getting at. I don't think it is a hollow crevice sort of issue lol because believe me it took forever to even get things going. I doubt we could get beyond a couple of inches for the first 10 minutes. I think it is more a numb sort of thing. Things contracted and I had a successful orgasm but kind of like when your arm is asleep and you can tell something is touching it but there just isn't a real sensation, if any of this makes sense. Well I am in the mood to give it another go when he gets home, and this time I am going to just ask him! Thanks for the personal experience. It's embarrassing to worry about something so normal.

I came right out and asked if it felt the same and hubby said yes. I even used the muscles to see if he noticed and he did!

Intercourse, do we lose muscle tone?

Hi girls, I went for my 2wk check up & I asked why it felt wierd down there & if sex was gonna be a struggle. Dr said since thier is no uterus or cervix any longer it once was the size of the penis entering but now it has shrunk in size so i would need lot of lubricant. Okay!!!!! When I am showering & I squeeze down below I hear a bubbly noice or squeeking. What is all that about? Is it my muscle tellinig me something? okay, I have to get to know myself once again. I wonder if when my time comes if this noise is gonna occur during sex.
Curious & eager to get to know my outcome of this new me!

Oh my, it is amazing all of our little 'issues'. I have not heard any noises down there, but it feels a little weird sometimes, probably dryness, since my ovaries are probably not producing much estrogen right now and healing issues, etc, etc, etc.

I'm only 3 1/2 weeks out, so I haven't had the experience yet, I know I'm not able to answer your questions, but your questions have brought up some things I've been wondering about myself...

When doing kegels it actually feels like my muscles are stronger than they were before. Weird huh? Almost like all the fibroids in the vicinity had been hindering the work or were in the way. I don't run out of steam nearly as quickly as I used to.

I haven't figured all of this out yet - after reading here, I expect things to feel different and I'm a bit nervous about it,

No answers, only more questions...I guess I'll have to wait and find out myself.

Best
Wendy

davinci817 i feel my mate at the entrance and when he hits the new cuff, its the in between area that I don't feel him that well less I actually clamp down on him (and when i do umm well lets say whoopse to strong).

Believe it or not he gave me my first O a few days ago (and ummmmm wow new feeling - since he was doing no different then he has dun in the past, but I think for what ever reason things are a little more sensitve inside then they use to be or something).
