Surgical menopause is menopause...isn't it?

Do you go through menopause again if you went through surgical menopause?

I thought surgical menopause was menopause, just earlier because of the surgery.

Menopause is when all menses cease, so yes, surgical menopause is menopause, just happens all at once. Now as far as symptoms, we have seen women go through years of symptoms, be done with them, and later on get them again.

Dr. said estrogen can leave the body at anytime....I thought it was already gone since it's been 4 years.
