Belly bands for LAVH?

If having a LAVH do I want to have the belly band that cools and the other one that constricts after surgery? Do I need one or both if I don't have the big incision?

I didnt use either. I dont think the cooling one would have done much good honestly. Since there wasnt an abdominal incision there wasnt much to soothe. One more thing, you might just wait before buying the one that binds too. I went back to work in less than 2 weeks and was able to wear my normal clothes.

I had LAVH and didn't have a belly band. I AM experiencing some swelly belly and I have an ice pack that's rectangular in size kind of like a small pillow and absolutely love it. It helps soothe the swelly belly. No i don't have a big incision, just the three small holes, but it does help with the swollen feeling. I like it anyway. Use your best judgement. I kind of wish I had something more supportive.
