Anybody post-hyster put on Megace to shrink any remaining endo?

My Oncologist put me on Megace(Progersterone) after my hyster because I was so filled with stage IV endo. It's causing horrible side effects, but I understand his reasoning. Just wondered if anyone ekse is going through this he!!

You might want to do a site search to find other threads discussing Megace and/or progesterone use with endometriosis. I know there are ladies on the site who have used progesterone after a hysterectomy to help with any remaining endo. My GYN had suggested natural progesterone for me on a number of occasions but my neurologist vetoed the idea as my migraines were too bad.

Talk to your doctor about the side effects as there may be some other options you can try or there may be options to help with those side effects.

Take care and in there! S
