Weight gain issues or lack of aility to loose weight and headaches???? HELP

Lost my cervix and uterus about 2 year ago and in March I lost both my ovaries..
I normally find it easy to maintain my weight between 128 and 132 lbs... Which places me between a size 6 or 8 for clothing.. These days I have ballooned in weight, I just bought a size 12 pair of pants, and I am NOT happy about this.
I was the kind of person who could simply just not eat for a while and drop weight without thinking about it, or exercise minimally..
These days I bought a treadmill and have been running anywhere from 6 to 20 miles a week and am not loosing anything! I am currently about 148 lbs and can't seems to shake it! My Thyroid tests have all come back normal to excellent as well as my cholesterol..

HELP.. is anyone else having this problem, or have you had it and found a way to fix it??

Also, I have had headaches every single day for months and months now. I am taking 800mgs or more of ibuprofen every day..

I am taking the hormone Enjuvia at 0.625mg..
I am only 36 years old, and the weight is a real issue for me...
I'll suffer through headaches if need be..

Any advise?
Thanks in advanced for your time!

me, too.

I have the same problem but as of right now don't know what to do about it! I have gained 50 lbs since my hyster. in 2005. I have never had a weight problem and didn't think too much about the weight coming on, I just figured that I would lose it but now at 192, I have been trying to lose weight by and dieting but notta so far. I do wish you luck in finding an answer.]

Are you using any bio-identical progesterone to go with the Enjuvia (I am not familiar with this - but assume it's estrogen type?). Unopposed estrogen can cause weight gain - I experienced that myself.

Just a thought...

Just looked up enjuvia. It's a synthetic form of estrogen. Have you tried bio-identical estrogen instead? Would also definitely look into progesterone to balance the estrogen.

The chronic use of ibuprofen surely isn't too good for your liver. Wonder if the headaches are due to unopposed estrogen, which you could balance by adding the progesterone, or perhaps your body doesn't like the synthetic type of estrogen.

I have always had hormonal headaches and so choosing HRT was truly a jungle. Enjuvia was bad! I couldn't do it. Tried it twice actually. I have found relief with BiEst (compounded) and a testosterone. I used progesterone for a while (helps some people, but it started to make me tired and depressed). I now see an endocrinologist -- not for hrt, but blood sugar issues. I had the same problem with my weight. Essentially I have to follow a diet with low carbs -- and spread them out throughout the day. A book that I began following that really helped was The Fat Resistance Diet. My endo also says that 40 min/day exercise (which you're already doing) will ultimately pay off. Honestly, it was almost a year post-hyst before my body would allow the weight to move. My endo made me feel better by telling me that I will NOT lose quickly, but to look at the downward trend. I only weigh every two weeks now. It helps my psyche. Ok, I've obviously written too much.
Good luck to you, and try not to stress. You're on the right track.
