Swelly belly ... Itchy belly?

OK I understand that we can all expect swelly belly.

But has anyone else who had a vaginal hyst and therefore has no abdominal incision experiencing itchy belly?

I am being driven mad by the skin on my lower abdomen itching all the time. The only thing I can suggest is that I have been so distended for so long due to my fibroids that I am now shrinking and the skin is having a hard job keeping up with the innards.

Anyone?

Could you be having a reaction to pain meds, or even an allergic reaction to something else, food maybe?

My belly did get a bit itchy, but I figured it was from the ab binder I wore, irritating my skin a bit.

Try some aveeno lotion for itchy skin, or an epsom salt bath. you can always mention it to your doctor.
