granulation tissue ?

I had my surgery on July 24, 2008. It was a TAH. It went fine. My post-op was August 27, 2008. Doc. said my healing was delayed. She advised to ressume restrictions for 10 more days. Since my hyst. I have never had a discharge free day. Nothing alarming...just always. I went for my yearly exam this week, I have granulation tissue. She treated it with silver nitrate. She scheduled a second round for jan 24, 2009. Who knows the odds of this working? I am reading tons of things about the link to suture disolving problems. I often laugh as I am still pulling sutures from my abdominal scar. Do the internal sutures disolve at the same rate? Would you gather this is my problem... Just looking for some answers. I am 35 and sick of all of this, it seems like I have been wearing a pad for a year solid now. Please help.

granulation tissue ?

I relate to the pad for a year pain in the ***! I had several rounds of silver nitrate, I hope your Dr. said that "restrictions" meant no penetration. My Dr. said silver nitrate stays active in the vagina for a number of days and would burn anything it touched (like fingers or a penis, etc). Each time I had silver nitrate, I had discharge for about a week. Sigh. The last nitrate treatment I had was about 3 1/2 months ago, and I have no further granulation or discharge (other issues, but not those). I am not a patient patient, so I relate to your frustration. granulation tissue ?

I was fortunate to only need one lot of silver nitrate treatment for granulation tissue but I too have lots of other issues I am having to contend with and I am a patient patient but am getting to the end of my tether with everything.
