Favourite present you gave or received

There is joy in giving and receiving but we often don't celebrate or reflect on it.

Best response to gift I gave.... was from my younger DD's Dbf. He had a lousy Christmas as his mother has just been diagnosed with ovarian cancer - but he was stoked to get a computer plug in that will fire foam missiles across his office!

Best gift I received.... a children's book from my elder DD who had tracked down "The Story of Ferdinand" that I used to read to her when she was little and which she knew I had always wanted a copy as my mother read it to me when I was a kid too.

Best resonse to a gift I gave....Granddaughters (age 3) reaction to the Word WOrld Barn, she said "this is the best present of all."


Best gift I received.....My son, home for the holidays, after spending 15 months in Iraq.

Best response....When Dylan found his electric guitar(we left clues all around the house for him to find it) He was so excited and he yelled out now i'm going to be like Jimi Hendrix (remember he's 5!))


Best received... I actually got it a few weeks ago. It's a white gold ring with 4 clear and 3 black diamonds(me,Will,Dylan) to memorialize my hyster and celebrate who I have. My mom got it for me.
