Acupuncture as a remedy for lack of sex drive?

I am in the land of no sex drive and asked my massage therapist if she had any suggestions- she suggested acupuncture.
Has anyone tried this and had any success? I am terrified of needles but she swears it just feels like a pinch. I am at the point to give anything a try.

I am not terrified of needles myself, but the idea of inserting them into one's body to create libido seems kind of far-fetched to me. lf you discover any "science" behind the remedy, I would be interested to learn about it.
