"menopause Defeated" Is this for real?

Has anyone on hystersisters purchased and read the book "menopause Defeated"? It sounds to good to be true.
If you have read it and are free from menopausal symptoms then I want to hear from you!!! I don't want to take "HRT" but I am starting to really suffer from several symptoms brought on by my TAH/BSO surgery in November. I need answers. soon.!!!!!!!!!!!

"menopause Defeated" Is this for real?

Hi greeneyes72!

I haven't read the book, but I just wanted to mention that my family physician explained to me that the information contained in books and articles about natural menopause does not pertain to those of us who have undergone oophorectomies and are in surgical menopause. We're a whole 'nother breed.

Best wishes in finding the path to being your "best self" soon!

I've looked at the site and don't know what to think about it.

I have read a book titled "When Your Hormones Go Haywire" by Pamela Smith. She is a nutritionist and has worked with many famous athletes. I have put into practice things that she has suggested and have found them very helpful.
