Good Morning!

I didn't sleep very well last night, been awake since around 2am. It's still here, but not as as it has been.

I did quite well on WW yesterday, I'm a little confused with a couple of points issues, but as long as I write down the food, i can discuss it with the leader on weds.

Exercise, dog walking and housework, also i am working 1 - 5pm.

Breakfast ~ muesli w/ natural yoghurt
Lunch ~ ?
Dinner ~ ?

I am off food shopping in a couple of hours, so I will be stocking up on healthier options! I intend to make the WW soup, keep me going for a couple of days!

Gotta get this day started now!

Good Morning All...Hi Fran!! Hi Nanno!! We were posting at the same time.

I never got in to post yesterday...It was just one of those days where I was just too busy to sit down, read and then post. I did read a few times.

Food stayed OP. DH and I walked at the mall, and I shoveled a couple inches of the white stuff. More to do this morning.

I found 5 new foods that we're suppose to incorporate into our diets for 2009...they are Greek Yogurt, Quinoa, Nut Butters, Flax seed, and Dried fruits. You can read about their benefits and how to use them at MSNBC's website and look under their health section.

Today is Curves, some light shoveling, and I really really need to take down my Christmas tree. All the outside stuff is down, I just need to get motivated and get the tree down. So lots of movement involved today. And DH and I will head to the mall and get in our 3 or 4 mile walk. It's nice to have him walking with me everyday.

Have a BEST OP day everyone!

Hi ladies! I need a boost today. It says in the new Curves book to weigh yourself daily which I do anyway when I am on a diet. I missed the scale yesterday because I was in a hurry to get ready for work. I started out on Sunday at 208, Monday I was 207.4, Tuesday 207 and Wednesday I was 205.4. Then today I get on the scale and I am back to 207.6 which was a crushing blow to me. Now I know I am only on the diet for a few days but to gain back again after being so good has made me want to I guess I need to try harder. I work tonight so I will get my exercise in. I wish it were spring as I could get out and walk. I am not like Nancy.........can't get out there with 25 mile an hour winds.

B..........Kashi waffle with PB
L.............Lean Cuisine meal
D.........large salad with hard boiled egg
Sn.......cheese and a banana

Good Morning Everyone!
Nancy, its great that your husband is walking with you! Unfortunately it took not so good circumstances to get him to do that. I am trying to get my husband to do that as well. We started out @ the gym together last year, but it didnt last long. He said he was just too tired from working all day to keep that up as well. So we will see ...
I walked yesterday and between that and the Denise Austin video my knees were killing me. Any suggestions?
Stonebo: I believe you have to eat all of your points. That's what they said when I was there. Your food choices sound great!
Food today: protein shake, and a fiber one bar.
L: leftover chicken/collard greens...I can buy one meal and make it last a couple of days.
D: ?
Well i'm still hanging out @ my dad's house. He has been in the hospital and i've been here with my DD. I don't know if he will be home today or not. I hope so.
Well that's it for me. Have a great day!
See ya later! sharon

Hi again everyone

Oh, Emily...how I understand what you are saying. We all need confirmation when we are struggling with our food intake...When the scale is not our friend it is sooooooooooooooo hard. Even though daily wigh in is good, at WW they tell is it CAN be bad, and you've seen why. My best suggestion is stick with your diet plan and don't weigh again for 3 or 4 days. Daily can reflect a bit of water retention or who knows what?

Good luck and stick with it. This is a whole near year full of great possibilities!!!

Emily ... I agree with Nanno. Stick with your plan, don't weight yourself for a few days. My WW leader very strongly suggestswe only weigh in on our meeting days.

Well, I have been figting off a off and on for awhielm but It never got "real" bad, well that has changed. I have a terrible deep cough, headache, chills sore throat and body aches (too that is with fibro and you have a BAD situtation). I have been up for awhile, but now I am going to take a a get on the couch.

Food oh who knows what that will be like ....

Have a good day all my BEST friends.

Hello everyone!
I stuck to my exercising and food plan yesterday. I did walk for 60 min. on the treadmill and I did some weight training. Ha! that's a first for me. My DH was patient with me and helped me out. I am not too sore today, but feel great.

I did weight myself today. I lost a total of 4.4lbs. and weighed in at 189.4. this should keep me going.
food for today

b- oatmeal and 3 eggwhite, coffee
l- salad and tuna, garden soup
d- chicken leg with veggies, salad
s- carrots
s-banana
lot's and lot's of water
walk for 60 min. on treadmill.
I hope we all continue being opt.

Hi G ! great job on the treadmill. I have never been able to walk on the treadmill for that long, good job!!!
Barri, I hope you will get over your virus soon!
Emily, we all are so obsessed with the scale! My Dr told me not to weigh everyday because I had become obsessed by it, but I still do. I hate that I didn't get starting measurements, because she said that is your true measure of success. She said let your clothes be the judge! We sell ourselves short, don't we?
Hang in there...sharon
