Painful spasms after intercourse?

I am 9 months post TAH (kept ovaries only) and I only recently resumed intimate relations due to having another op in between. I get aroused, I have the big O, but it feels different, not as wow and also if my OH penetrates very deep I have terribly painful spasms that make me leap up and it hurts for a few days afterwards. I am trying to relax but the anticipation of the pain slows me down. I also had the wet dreams and a huge libido post op, but things have definitely slowed down in that department. Anyone experience this sort of thing and have a good outcome ?

Painful spasms after intercourse?

I am tender and bloated after deep penetration so figure the best thing for now is...no deep penetration. It's no surprise your libido is backing off a bit if sex is painful. You need to talk with your Partner, out of bed, and take no excuses. Men are not children and they need to be able to get it and care for us properly.

Painful spasms after intercourse?

(((Stillsuffering))) It must be terribly frustrating to be in pain so far out from your surgery.

In my view, this really needs to be addressed. I would recommend giving your doctor a call to let him/her know this is happening. It's possible that you are still healing from your surgery or that there is something else going on which needs to be addressed.

Obviously, we don't know what's wrong, nor can we give specific advice for you. But one thing is sure -- there's no point in suffering!

I hope you have some good answers soon. Please let us know what the doctor says, OK?
