Pressure on bowels, gas, pain in ribs
I am a 26 year old girl who came across this site while contemplating going to the ER. I have terrible pressure while going to the bathroom, also some gas, and these terrible pains in my lower abdomen as well as my ribcage like "hopeforpeace". I feel horrible and i dont know why. I have had an US and a particle filled bleeding cyst was found, but my doc said it was nothing to worry about. I have narrowed the pain down to gas pains, lactose intolorance, or cyst issues. I would be so embarrased if i went to the ER for gas pains, but what if it is more serious? One more thing, the pain gets worse when i eat...does anyone have any insight? I would really appreciate it! xoxo

Is your cyst pressing on your colon, perhaps? I had similar symptoms with my endometrioma.

Which side is your pain on? If it is on your right side and you still have your appendix this also could be appendicitis. It could also be the cyst or kidney stones or many other things. If the pain is bad enough that you are considering going to the ER then do not be embarrassed. I work in a hospital and we constantly have people coming in everyday to the ER with abdominal pain yes some end up to be nothing and others end up being something very serious but no one makes judgement on whatever the result is. So please dont be embarrassed it is much better to be safe than sorry. Get it checked out. Good Luck and keep us posted

Bladder/Bowel pain/pressure with cyst
How I found my cancer on my ovaries was bladder infections continuously. I had pain all the time in my abdomen. They ran tests and found that there were "cysts" on my ovary..and when it was removed and tested it was found to be cancer. It then spread to my other ovary. I've had two seperate surgeries, and also during the second surgery they took the one ovary, both fallopian tubes, and my appendix.
