Finally feeling better

Hi ya'll,

Just wanted to express my appreciation for this web site. I finally lost track of how long it's been since surgery (TAH/BSO 5-29-01). I was keeping track of how many weeks post op praying for the pain to release and....about 2 weeks ago I finally started feeling OK again;-)

My left hip/leg have been giving me more pain than my suture site. I finally got the ok to start physical therapy from my osteopath dr...some sort of electrode stimulation and cold pack and then an ultrasound treatment. Finally something worked to lessen the pain so at least the pain pills (darvocet and extra str tylenol) are making living tolerable. I started stretching exercises for my hip/leg this week. So far so good - still have swelly-belly but at least I'm able to function again.

So hang in there Sisters. I hope you all will find relief soon too!
