Red face - "Sweating" in the bikini area - could this be a urinary track issue? "Sweating" in the bikini area - could this be a urinary track issue?

Hmm. I have been sweating quite a bit, mostly in the bikini area, for several months. I am 49 years old; and had a LSH (kept ovaries) about 2.5 years ago. This is so embarrasing -- the odor is almost urine-like. I am changing panti liners every couple of hours, and quite tired of damp panties. Would this be something to do with a urinary tract problem? I've just begun to use baby powder, which seems to help. Am I just being self-concious? I had not heard that our sense of smell changes after these surgeries. Any comments would be welcome. thank you, ladies.

"Sweating" in the bikini area - could this be a urinary track issue?

Hi there

While I have noticed a change in the odor of my urine since hitting menopause, I haven't noticed this particular type of sweating. It may be worth it to mention it to your doctor, especially since you are concerned about possible urinary tract problems

I do wish you the best of luck in finding answers... and relief.

My concern would be that this isn't sweating......

Have you had it since surgery or is this something relatively new? I would be calling my Dr for an appointment to discuss the issue fairly soon.
