I'm just wondering if there are any MS ladies on the forum at the present. It dosen't look like there has been much activity on here in a while.

Hello, Glad to finally see someone from my part of the country!!! You're not too far from me down here on the coast. Anyway, I see that your surgery is coming up. I had a TAH/BSO on Jan 13, so I am 3 weeks out today. Wishing you good luck and look forward to chating with you on here!!!

Hi Mississippi Ladies. I'm scheduled to have surgery Feb. 26. Scared to death but know it has to be done. Think I'm more afraid of the "afterwards" than an I am of the actual surgery.

It's perfectly normal to be scared of the unknown but on this site you'll get to learn from the experiences of others. No one understands quite so well as those who have been through this.

You'll want to check out the Pre-Op Hysterectomy Support message board and start new threads there with any questions or concerns you have. Pre- and post-op members from all over the world will reply there to help you. There's additional information that will help you be better prepared in this link: Pre-Op Page.

Here in the Neighborhood forum you can socialize with members in your area about all kinds of topics other than surgery and recovery. It's a nice way to get to know each other!
