Arrested by Pillow Police

Hi Everyone,

I am now going on 5 weeks post-op and the "pillow police" caught me not using my pillow to sleep with. I stopped using my pillow to help turn and sleep for the past (going on) week because I have felt so good. I am feeling nasty!!! I hurt all the time now and my energy is way down. All I want to do is SLEEP and cry. Told MD about the crying and the hurting. He said I have one of two choices; one - stop the HRT for three months and kill the endometriosis that is inside of me still, or two - increase the HRT and feed the "lovely monster" inside of me. I opted for the HRT and deal with the "monster" later.
The MD never asked about the pillow, but I could not sleep well last night. Out of frustration, I grabbed the pillow (an extra bed pillow) and put it over my stomach. Then with out thinking I turned on my side and fell fast asleeep. The only reason for me waking up this morning is due to the fact that the bladder was so full that I was dreaming that I was a water balloon ready to bust. I woke up right as I was popping to find out that I was ready to pop!
So dear "sisters" PLEASE USE THOSE PILLOWS!!!! I learned a lesson this week. Now back to the pain pills to kill my pains.

Hi Ronda,

You may also have internal stitches dissolving around this time. Please take it very easy for awhile longer. If it's the stitches, then it will get better with time. Many sisters start feeling more pains at 3-5 weeks post-op because of this. They can also get weepy. It DOES get better!

My very best to you...

Linda
