i believe i am having my last painful period

well after a couple of days of cramping and spotting...i am having my period today.. i feel like crap....

but i am very hopeful that this is my last one!

i almost feel like celebrating... um..well after it is over.....

maybe i should throw my uterus a "going away party"

is that a good way to start off pampering the

Teehee, I had my LSH on 2/9/09 so the Friday before, a few of my girlfriends and I got together for a drink to wish my uterus a final farewell!

Hope you feel better and good luck on your upcoming surgery!

lol sisters..... i would invite everybody if i could! chocolate and coffee sounds good to me.... but coffee unfortunately does bad things to me... maybe chocolate ice cream and pizza!

obviously i would have to do this a couple of days before the surgery..as i am having to do a bowel prep and eat lightly for breakfast and lunch the day before the surgery and then start drinking magnesium citrate right after lunch... with only clear liquids after lunch....until midnight....

not looking forward to the bowel prep part....

but a party is something i can look forward to!

and no more periods! woo hoo!

Oh, I forgot the pizza...I have been trying to eat it almost everyday! Don't worry, I'll eat yours, I don't have any prepping to do. Hip hip hooray!

hooray! I am scheduled in 2 weeks, and got my "last one" yesterday. It is a weird and bittersweet experience for me. Of course, I am cramping terribly, and can't go to karate class tonight because I am bleeding through super plus tampon and pad every hour, just as usual. My husband says it reinforces the need to have this surgery and put this all behind me. But I understand the party , too! I almost want to privately celebrate the part of me that gave me my wonderful daughters as I say goodbye to the pain and the bleeding. Best of luck with your surgery.

mentions kids

mine has been rough on me too..... sometimes i even feel like pushing when cramping really badly.. i suppose that is when i am passing a clot...

yuck.. pretty gross info to share...huh?

yeah my uterus did give me three beautiful boys... that are getting so grown up now...

yaaay a party for all of us!

i would definitely go to a hystersister event if there was one in Orlando....

i live a little north of Orlando..but would make the drive into the "big city"

hugs,
