Estrace - Natural Menopause Post Hysterectomy (Kept Ovaries)

Hysterectomy: June 5th, 2005

Surgery Type: TVH

Ovaries: Kept 1 or both

Estrace

I have been trying HRT (TAH 3 years ago) - oral Estrace (.5 am and pm)and am just cycling up and down with anxiety and depression. I have been reading about for some estrogen can be depressing because it blocks dopamine and that Estrace can wear off too quickly and possibly be adding to the anxiety\depression etc. Can anyone elaborate on the Estrace or dopamine? I am also on 10mg prozac.
