Stabbing pain in lower abdomen

Hi ladies, it's been a long time since I've been here. This morning I started having a fairly severe stabbing pain in the lower right abdomen - not really in the right spot to be appendix - more like where the ovary would be. I had a TAH with LSO 5.5 years ago, so I still have my right ovary. Could this just be an ovarian cyst? I have been feeling quite bloated lately, and am experiencing breast tenderness today - so it's probably around "that time of the month"!
Any help/advice anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.

My pain satrted the same way and it was adhesions. I posted before you did about my last surgery and they had to remove my appendix. If it contiues call your dr. I also journaled my sysmtoms so I could clearly explain everything to the dr. Keep me posted.

An ovarian cyst could be one of the possibilities! Have you spoke with your doctor? A simple ultrasound should be able to confirm whether or not you have a cyst.

I also suggest keeping a journal so that if the problem is not a cyst the details in your journal could help you and your doctor figure out what could be going on!
