I dream of white jeans!

Hello all,
I have a week to go and for the most part I just want to get the surgery and initial recovery done. My focus is on the long term and how much better life will be, hopefully.

Once this is all done I am going to buy myself a present; a pair of white jeans. Of course I could currently have them too, but there would only be couple of days per month when I would be daring enough to wear them. I currently specialise in dark jeans and black dress pants, at worst times I always have an extra pair of pants with me.

So to celebrate I will get white jeans and I will wear them proudly!

Any other similar ideas out there? How to celebrate a new better life?

Have you thought of burning your period underwear?

I dream of white jeans!

oh wow yeah..no more old yucky spotted underwear!!! woo hoo i didn't even think about that

i am too fat to wear white jeans......and my dogs would just ruin them anyhow.... with their dirty paws..... so....hmm...besides my "uterus going away" party.....what should i do to celebrate?

i think i might get some Victoria's Secret panties! yeah! since i won't have to worry about ruining them anymore!

and they will make me feel sexier in case i don't feel too sexy after the surgery.........

I dream of white jeans!

Dream away - white jeans are a reality in this house :-)

I have had them a while but could only wear them occasionally, now they come out whenever I feel like it and it is great!

In fact I have nice new underwear & I never have to worry about blood stains any more. I can wear light coloured pants, skirts, dresses, swim suits, bikini's without even worrying if I might flood. It is so much fun and I am going to make the most of it this summer.

Throwing out the period panties was such a turning point in recovery too.

I dream of white jeans!

Not just underwear will go, but also the stained pants. Never will I have to pick up pants with flags on them from dry cleaners. Little flags pointing at stains they could not remove.

I dream of white jeans!

Wow! I didn't think about the panties either.

How about this one... I won't have to keep the heating pad stashed under my bed anymore. It can finally go back in the closet where it belongs!

And I won't have to stuff my purse with pads, tampons and pain relievers anymore!!! Ya know... I'll bet I'll even be able to find my keys again!

I'm SO excited!!!

I dream of white jeans!

You ladies really make me smile. I never thought of the white jeans and am liking the idea. I told my 16yr old that after my surgery I am cleaning out all the 'stuff' from the ensuite to her bathroom and it will all be her 'stuff'. I will not miss them a bit.

I dream of white jeans!

I've been so preoccupied with all the bad and worrying about my surgery and possible complications; that I completely forgot about the good things. WOW, celebrate; perfect. Burning underware! Love it. An entire new underware wardrobe.... love it. New white pants! love it! I love shopping. Now, other than that little grabbie tool, I have fun things to shop for. Thanks ladies. I'm feeling better already.
