Cramping 2 weeks post op?

So my doctor told me that the cramping and pain I am having is from my intestines.

Just feels so weird. This pain can stop me dead in my tracks.


Sometimes I do pass gas after the pain but not always.


Anybody else experience this problem? And does it go away?

Did your give you any recommendation on how to alleviate some of the pain? Was that your ob/gyn or PC? If it were me, I would seek out another opinion. You might need to see a gastroenterologist. From my own personal experiences, an occasional intestinal pain is normal. BUt, if I was having pain like you are describing, I would find someone to make it stop. OUCH! I sure hope it subsides and the rest of your body has an easy recovery period.

Have you been trying any meds. to alleviate the gas pains. What you are describing sounds like what I used to go through. I would feel some cramping and weird sensations in my abdomine and some times I would pass gas and sometimes I wouldn't. And then I would have pains so bad that they would stop me in my tracks and sometimes double me over. It took me awhile to figure it out but the pains I was experiencing was from all the gas being trapped in my intestince and not being released. I started taking GAS-X on a regular basis. It really helped me alot. All your internal organs are still settling in there new areas and you might be experiencing trapped gas in your intestince. I would try some meds. for gas pains. Of course this is my own experience and just a suggestion to try and help you with your pain.

Thanks ladies. My doctor told me it was gas pains in my intestines. Guess I will have to make sure I keep taking my gas-x pills!


BOY I do have to say they hurt at times!
