intercourse

We waited til 8 weeks for actual intercourse. Seemed okay, the urge to be careful was very strong, so don't know how much I would have actually enjoyed had I not been so uptight.

2nd time at 9 weeks and a few slight pains (but more pleasure this time). The next day was a tiny bit of pink discharge.

I thought if I waited so long, I'd see less pain and no spotting. I'm assuming this is normal? I mean, if it is normal, I'm curious where the blood came from, the walls, the cuff?

Also, how long should I wait before trying again?

Thanks in advance, girls.

I know this is easier said then done but you need to relax before intercourse. The more tense you are the more your vagina muscles clamp up. YEAH i know that is hard to do because that is the part that we just had surgery on and the thought of it makes us tense up because we don't know how it is going to feel afterwards. I didn't experience any bleeding after my first try but if I would of I would of waited until the bleeding subsided. But I am sure that one of the ladies that had this happen will come along and share there experience with you.

intercourse

I had some spotting the first two times and a little discomfort.

But we just kept practicing (!) until it all came good. It really did take me a month to be able to relax and enjoy the moment but now things really are better than ever :-)

intercourse

I have been told I could have intercourse @ 6 weeks originally. I had a post op @ 2 weeks and am to have another one @ 7 weeks. But @ 2 weeks he said for my f/u to be in1-2 mths but he didn't say anything about when I could have intercourse. So now I feel ready to try but want to make sure it's ok.
