hrt and smoking

i just got off the phone with my phamacist and they are refusing to let me try the testosterone cream because i smoke. i have been using bi-est and progesterone for allmost 4 months now.i still dont sleep well, have aches and pains,no libido at all,dry skin and hair, no energy, no interest in much of anything, tired all the time from not sleeping well.i didnt smoke for 1.5 years after my hyst and none of the other types of hormones were helping.i started smoking again about 10 months ago, its my only bad habit, i eat well, no soda, barely any junk,no caffeine,i walk quite much,no alcohol.now they are telling me that the hormones are not going to help me unless i quit smoking, anybody else encounter this?

If you quit before you might want to quit again. Smoking really interferes with so many things in our bodies. I have heard the doctors refusing to give those meds because of smoking. It is just not safe. Best wishes.
