Vaginal Discharge with ERT/HRT?

Hi ladies,

I had LAVH on Dec. 10, and kept my ovaries, but started having hot flashes like crazy within a few weeks after surgery. I didn't have them before surgery, and am 52. I finally gave up after 3 months of waiting and asked my doctor for relief. He gave me Vivelle Dot at the lowest dose, 0.025. It has helped with the hot flashes quite a bit (not totally, but enough). But I have been having vaginal discharge since I started on it a few weeks ago. It doesn't look like the kind of discharge you get with yeast, smells normal, and nothing hurts or itches. So I am guessing it's okay.

I was on hormonal suppression before surgery and suffered from extreme vaginal dryness then, so maybe I have just forgotten what normal is like.

Have any of you experienced this with ERT?

Yes, I noticed this also . I am on bhrt.
I used to be drier I guess. Now that I have been on estradiol patches and supplement with estrogel, I notice I am much more wet and plumped up down there. I assume its normal. Feels alot like it did when I had periods.
