Was that a Night Sweat???

Hey Ladies,

Woke this morning with sweat literally dripping down my body front and back. This has never happened to me before.
Either I this was unusually warm or it was a real Night Sweat!

Is this normal and to be expected?

Surgery date March 23, Vaginal Hystr, kept ovaries.

It certainly does sound like it, I'm afraid.

Many ladies find their ovaries struggle for a while following a hysterectomy ~ "sleeping ovaries" ~ since they can be affected due to the trauma of surgery. It's not unusual to experience hot flashes and/or night sweats for a while. It's still very early days for you but, hopefully, you'll find it won't be too long before they kick back in again.

If it doesn't improve, or you find you cannot cope, then please don't hesitate to contact your doctor who may have some suggestions for temporary relief.
