Infection at four weeks post-op

just when i thot it couldnt get any worse....
my tummy got all red, I mean really red and swollen and hard....went to dr....he sent me to emerg right away!
My surgeon was paged, he thot i had an abscess so he re-cut me open along my incision. Nope, no incision so all that for nothing, I am on antibiotics now for a major infection. THIS IS WEEK 4!! I thot i would be on the mend by now not starting over from scratch. Sooooo depressed about this whole thing, shoulda just suffered bevery month with the pain cuz this is so not worth it.

Hopefully after you get through all this it will be worth it. I hope it gets easier for you soon!!!!

oh weezy I'm so sorry to hear about you having to go thru that. It will get better, however it's obviously going to take some more time. My thoughts are with you.
