embarassing question

Hi. i had my TAH/BSO, everything removed august 2007. I have a really embarassing question to ask and not sure if im posting in the right place. Anyway can anyone tell me if they have noticed any difference in the appearance of their outer intimate area since you had your op? Mine seems to have gone wrinkley and also seems to have stretched since my op and i have a fatty pad on my pubic bone area, i definately was not like this before the op and im finding this very embarassing, i dont have a partner but thats a good thing as i would not let him near me now as im very self concious of this and dont know if its too trivial to go see my doctor about, and i know a lot of you have a lot more serious things to worry about.

Re: embarassing question

First, nothing is too trivial to bring up either here or with your doctor. If it is different or a concern to you it is more than important enough to discuss.

Second, I am impressed you can bend to see the area I sure ain't bending that way anytime soon. I have not noticed the wrinkling you are talking about. The fat on the pubic bone I put down to swelling around my incision. The swelling below my incision was much less that the swelling above and went away quicker.

But ask your doctor.

Re: embarassing question

I noticed the fatty pad developed on me after having a c-section.

Re: embarassing question

I hadn't really noticed, but if anybody gets that close they'd better not be complaining!
