Returning to work week 6!

Hello everybody! I hope you all are feeling better! I am about to return to work tomorrow after an even 6 weeks. I'm feeling good although I have mixed emotions about returning. I have been bored at times but I have loved the time off and have re-evaluated my job situation. I've spent numerous hours on the computer job searching to be either at home or closer to home. This time off has been great for self-reflection so my advice to everyone is...use this time to think about where you are and what you want. Keeping a daily journal helps with your emotions. My doc put me down for seven weeks of disability time. As I start feeling better physically, I've been feeling a bit guilty about taking all of that time, so I appreciate your words of encouragement. I think there's a need for the time emotionally as well as physically.

It's also interesting to hear how you used your time. I hope you find just the right new direction in your life.
