Nine weeks post-TVH with repairs and intercourse still hurts

so...we have had sex like three times and it hurts when he goes deep.....

its like there is no give in the vaginal cuff and it just hurts...

i still managed to have an orgasm today for the first time with him since the surgery... (i've had them by myself)
but it did hurt.......

and also his um...fluid like totally glops out all over the place instead of sticking around is that normal?

hugs to all

Re: Nine weeks post-TVH with repairs and intercourse still hurts

I had my surgery LAVH on 3/4 and I am having the same issue with the pain during and after intercourse. If you get an answer on whether this is normal, let me know. It is very painful for the next couple of days.

Re: Nine weeks post-TVH with repairs and intercourse still hurts

The pain with the vaginal cuff could be granularization, it could be muscle triggers / knots (I have them and am in pelvic floor rehab with internal and external massage). You might have to take it slower & do slower penetration over time to get things to stretch, more foreplay. As for the "globbing out", yep that will happen and is normal.

Re: Nine weeks post-TVH with repairs and intercourse still hurts

Have your doctor check for granularization, mine showed up after I was released for everything but obviously not quite healed. I wish I could remember the thread about how the one sister and her husband did the foreplay and slowly got in the groove over time. Keep in mind that it shouldn't hurt, if it does than get checked out, also remember that if you keep doing it and it hurts the body remembers that and reacts appropriately so it becomes a nasty circle.
