Pain from prolapses getting unbearable... (kids mentioned)

After I was initially diagnosed with a uterine prolapse as well as a cyctocele and rectocele back in january the pain that I was experiencing was pretty intense. During the wait to see the surgeon things started to improve but now I am back to feeling horrible. I am doubled over in pain. I can't even do simple things like vacuum anymore without being in tears. Has anyone else expereinced this? I have a 17 month old that I need to try to keep up with and it is just getting really hard.

I have a stage II uterine prolapse so mine is not a severe as yours. I am very sorry to hear that it has gotten this bad. Is there anyway you can stay off of your feet as much as possible? That is what I do but my kids are 10 (on June 25th) and 11 so they are quite a bit older. Or is there someone that can help you with the daily housework? Anybody? You have got to take care of yourself before you have your surgery! that has got to be your #1 priority!!!

sending you a GREAT BIG

Re: Pain from prolapses getting unbearable... (kids mentioned)

Thanks Lisa, Well my hubby is working crazy hours right now so he isn't able to help much and my daughter is into EVERYTHING!! She is such a little monkey. If I take my eyes off of her for a minute she is getting into somethinge else. I was really hoping to get a ton done before surgery (ie. cleaning, yardwork, etc) but it is causing my fibro to act up and now the prolapse is so bad. It is a 3rd degree and tonight when I sat down to rock my daughter to sleep I felt like someone was punching me "down there" . It is just so hard to want to do so much to get the house in order before surgery and know I don't think I will be able to do it. I guess I can always ask my MIL for help but I would prefer to not have to if you know what I mean

Oh yeah I know what you mean. I could only imagine how hard it is going to be on you with a wee little one to care for during your recovery!

Best of luck to you!!!!
