Spotting very little 5 months after

I dont know if this is where I should be, I am sure the hostess will move it where it needs to go. I thank her for wherever she leads me.

My problem. I have been under a lot of stress lately with work and my mom. (and also other family issues) I noticed this morning when I went to the bathroom that I was spotting. VERY VERY VERY little. I had a TVH on 12/12, kept ovaries/tubes and a sling. Everything went well. No problems until now. Is this normal? I plan on calling my gyn on Monday but I cant wait until then for a possible reason. I just thought my sisters here could help.

So, please, help! Sorry if I sound pathetic!

Re: Spotting very little 5 months after

I know it sounds funny for the timespan. but it is possible it is stitches that are just coming out or finishing dissolving. Or just left over stuff there that needed to come out. TVH is a total correct???? I had my 2nd surgery in march 2009...a tracheolectomy (removal of cervix) and still have stitches and not sure how long they may be. Anyway, if there is no pain or major bleeding I think you should be safe to wait and call the doc but if uneasy about it call now. That's what they are for. To answer all your questions. Good luck, Please keep me posted on how you are doing. Connie

Did you keep your cervix? If so, having a mini period isn't that uncommon. Are you experiencing vaginal dryness? Sometimes the dryness can cause a cracking of the skin and bleeding. I would err on the side of caution and give your doctor a call.

Re: Spotting very little 5 months after

Thanks Kim and Connie,
I appreciate your suggestions. Yes, TVH is total....In my anxiety I did TVh instead of VH. I kept my ovaries and tubes. Got rid of everything else. Havent had sex since mid-November due to the fact that me and my hubby havent been in the same place long enough. Stress on my side and his side and multiple deaths on each side have kept un apart for the most part of 09. I have been experiencing some dryness also so yes that could be part of the problem and stitches could also be the problem. I will definitely call the doctor Monday.

Thanks again for your suggestions.

Have a WONDERFUL DAY!
