Please help - I have ZERO desire now

I am 3-1/2 months post-op from a TAH. I hated that I couldn't keep my ovaries. I have been dealing with HRT pretty well.... first tried a patch but that didn't work for me. Now am using divigel every day.

My problem is embarassing.... we always had a very healthy intimate life... not crazy but just (I thought) very normal, healthy and enjoyable. Since surgery I have ZERO desire.... none!! My dh has been very patient but is starting to get frustrated. I am actually pretty disappointed myself because previously I had been looking forward to the time I wouldn't be bothered by the awful long periods or the pain of the monster tumor I had -- which is now removed.

Any suggestions?? Maybe there is something natural/herbal I could take? I just am exhausted all of the time, have headaches, can't sleep AT ALL!!

Well, when the ovaries get removed you have also removed a woman's one source of testosterone, which is responsible for a woman's libido. Maybe you could talk to a doctor about supplementing with some testosterone--I think it's something commonly done for libido problems.

Definitely talk to your doc about adjusting the hormones you're taking. If you're not sleeping and having headaches, something is not quite right, and no libido is no fun either.
