do you ever have stingey breasts?

I am 14 years post op - always have my mammograms.......take only progesterone cream sometimes, nothing else -

sometimes I will lean my breast against something & it will feel a little sore - then I will press around & often find a spot that feels sort of sting-ey when I press hard on it.....do self exams & never find
any lumps ...just sometimes have some discomfort now & again

why is this? I had everything taken 14 years ago.....but wonder if it could still be hormones, or even the progresterone cream? My best friend gets pain in her breasts too - just seems odd...any issues/pain always makes us worry it could be something bad -

Re: do you ever have stingey breasts?

(((hopkins))) most likely you are experiencing breast cysts, which tend to come and go. The progesterone cream actually helps minimize problems with cysts, but even so as we get older we are more likely to get them.

I would mention it to your doctor at your next checkup, but as long as you're having your regular mammograms and they're coming back fine, I would not worry about it.
