Back from EUA

Made it through the EUA. This time, instead of playing like a tuff girl, I decided to accept all their pain meds.

Before the EUA the gyno/onco said he was very hopeful this is just rad damage and reaction to CK. And that he does not pay attention to SUV numbers on PET/CT scans and that the area is NOT bigger or larger as indicated on the scan. Said there is every reason in the world to hope that it is nothing more than rad damage.

I will find out in about 2 weeks.

Re: Back from EUA

I'm voting with the doctor. Since he said the area is smaller than it was before and is most likely radiation damage, I'm feeling very certain that this is the case. Scans have been known to be misleading, and your doctor knows by looking at the area that it's smaller than it was and looking much better, and he's the expert here!

Now we need to pray for these next two weeks to fly by so you can get firm results and peace of mind.

Hang in there, your doctor knows best!!

I also cast my vote with your doctor; he knows best. May those two weeks fly by.

Re: Back from EUA

Yep, the Doctor sounds like he knows what he is talking about. Here's hoping the two weeks fly by, so you can get the good news officially.
