Will have LAVH on July 14th for suspected Adenomyosis

What scares me...
The back pain is getting worse and worse and worse. I can no longer drive. I can only sit up at a desk or in a chair on my rear-end for maybe an hour at a time. Going shopping I have to take breaks and rest my back during shopping.

I feel like my body is literally allergic to my uterus.

THe symptoms I currently have:
Back pain I've never ever had before - unreal!
Nausea
Urge to urinate but bladder is empty when attempt is made to void
Can only eat a handful of food, a few bites before feeling full
Migraine headache since Saturday 5//30/2009

My surgery is scheduled for July 14th, and I have a doctors appointment tomorrow. I had to make a call to the physician on call this weekend for pain relief for my back. She gave me vicodin and said if I'm having this much pain I need to see my doctor again. I don't know what he'll do. It seems the surgery schedule is booked clear through to my surgery date.

I can't be doped up on pain meds all day.

Has anyone else experienced this myriad of symptoms?

Please, please help.
Faith

I am so sorry you are dealing with so much pain! My goes out to you! Be sure to tell your doctor exactly how are feeling tomorrow and exactly how the pain is affecting your daily life. Hopefully he will have some helpful suggestions for you to help you with the pain until surgery.

in there!

Re: Will have LAVH on July 14th for suspected Adenomyosis

I am experiencing some of the symptoms you have listed!

I barely have an appetite and when I do eat I get full VERY fast
I have the urge to urinate frequently and it sometimes takes me 3 to 4 attmepts to empty my bladder fully.
I have a lot of lower back pain but I think that is from my uterine prolapse.

I am not suspected of having adenomyosis tho! And my symptoms are similar to yours not exactly like yours. I get indigestion A LOT too!!!!

I hope you can get some relief from your Dr. I hope you get to feeling better soon!!!!
