Surgery date !

While I was at Physical Therapy my physical therapist told me she just received a message from my doctor. Surgery is scheduled for 3 p.m. on June 30th. She is going to observe the surgery at my doctors invitation. They informed her so she can clear her schedule. I guess I'll be told officially tomorrow!
Apparently they really do not know what they will find inside. Kind of scary but on the other hand the honesty is refreshing.
She feels confident between the two doctors who will be performing the surgery I will be in excellent hands.
I hope the cuff revision goes well and they find some other minor issue that is the root of my pain since the hysterectomy.
I hope the doctor himself calls so I can ask he if I will be spending the night and what is the healing time for a cuff revision.

Oh, Man. At least they are addressing the pain, but I'm sorry you have to go through surgery again. Hope they can find the problem so that you can get on with your life.

Hope, it is going well. I get the occassional twing that worries me, but not enough to get to the doctors. I'm on bio-identical HRT, and it does seem to be working well. I've started a new job at work and it is taking up a lot of my time. I still think about my hysterectomy daily, but it isn't front and center. Sex is a bit problematic, but mostly because I don't have anyone to share it with, LOL. I just popped in earlier to see what was up and saw your post. I am still coming to visit, but most of my posts are in pre-op and alternatives. The hysterectomy took so much energy out of me that I am now on a mission to let people know how long it does take to recover. I'm still more tired than I was pre-surgery. It did take me 6 months to start feeling like myself again, but I still have my really tired days despite supplements and vitamins.

I'll take the time tomorrow to catch up with you.
