congested pelvic syndrome

I am scheduled for a vag. hyst. on sep. 11 & am looking for anyone who has/had this condition. I am also wondering if i should have a abd. hyst. instead. My dr. has to clamp a lot of varicose veins during the surgery & i am worried he might miss some of them. I am going to call him tomorow with this question- if an abd. is going to make it easier for him to see everything then i will go with that instead. I would love to hear from anyone who has this debilitating condition (or had) or even some of you who can give me a little support! Thanks a BUNCH. Susan
