What happened to my "smiles"?

I have noticed just today that when I wish to respond to a post there are no "smiles" for me to use. They are only there when I want to post a new thread. Did I break a rule or something? Tell Me I'm a big girl. If I can take a TAH I can take just about anything.

Re: What happened to my "smiles"?

You didn't do anything wrong. At the bottom of the page, under the message box there are two buttons. One says Post quick reply and the other says Go advanced. If you press on the go advanced, the smile box will pop up on the side just like it does when you post your own thread. Talk to you later--Kris

Re: What happened to my "smiles"?

Dear Technical People ,I don't have any smilies either! I can do a couple on the keyboard- as you can see!
I went advanced but nothing appeared! Please let me know what's happening!
Thanks.

Re: What happened to my "smiles"?

If you'll click on "new reply" or "go advanced" in the quick reply you should see a box to the right that says "Smilies". At the bottom of that box you'll see [more] click on [more] and a new window will open up that shows the smilies that are available.

If the new window does not open up, I would suggest checking your pop up blocker. If you're not allowing pop ups it is possible that the smilie window will be prevented from opening.

Re: What happened to my "smiles"?

I found it hard to get smilies too but if you can get the big smilie box up, dom't right click over the one you want, left click. It comes as writing on your message but appears as the smilie an the messege. Good luck!
