Biest Cream and water weight gain

Hi
I have been on the Biest 1mg (60 mg Progresterone/1 mg Testosterone) I apply once a day (after my shower). I have been on it for a little over three weeks and I have gained two pounds!!! I still have mild hot flashes....and just feeling miserable around my waistline. I have gained a total of 15 pounds since October. (I switch the brands of patches in October....and then I went to a compounding pharmacist three weeks ago). So this weight gain is something troubling because I don't over eat....I excercise....and I am miserable with the weight gain!
My question is... is my body still adjusting...or do I need more....or am I getting too much.
My pharmacist says to wait another three weeks before we do anything.....does anyone else have this problem. Libido is dead as well but that is on the back burner until I get this water retention or whatever it is settled....
Any info would be GREATLY appreciated....I am almost to the point that I should have went with the pellets instead of the creams!!!!

Re: Biest Cream and water weight gain

I have an estrogen patch and wasnt having any symptoms except for a nagging ringing in my ears. I have gained 7 pounds in the two months since my surgery. I havent changed my eating habits..I am eating the same as I did before surgery when I want gaining weight. Doc gave me the pellets to try a lower dose but I am afraid to try them. I am with you. I cant decide if I have too much or too little. I have been on other threads and some sisters have the same issue as we do. Some feel it is a hormonal imbalance. I dont know what to think either. I am terrified. I am eating less and less but dont know if I will be able to lose this weight or not..and I am also terrified I will continue to gain. You are not alone, unfortunately. I had my hysterectomy-took everything-first week of May. good luck to you.
