Increase in bleeding?!

Well yesterday was an interesting day...After going to the dr in the am and having her tell me everything looks good, giving me the green light to drive and telling me I can't do anything else, we decided to take my car into the shop to get the radiator replaced. Well I drove there, and then we were driving around in the area we took the car, we got a flat, so I get out and start to change the tire, I over do it =, pulling the spare out of the trunk and trying to get out rusted jack to move, with no luck, my husband has to walk about 1 mile to an advanced auto parts to get a jack so we can put the spare o so I end up having to walk my 3 kids to a nearby taco bell and lifting my 30 lb son up to go poty and to get in a chair to eat, and then help my husbband jack the car up once he gets back, I could go on and on, all the stupid things I did yesterday. Normally when we have a flat I change it, cuz my husband doesn't know how and I know how to do it and I enjoy it, but today I am bleeding a lot more, not bright red, but more, much more, and I wondering if it's normal after stupidity for the bleeding to increase. I know I was stupid and I'm not gonna do it again, but now I'm worried about the increase in blood...

Re: Increase in bleeding?!

Hi fep, what were you thinking ! Plant yourself on the sofa with your feet up for the day (or two) let the inflammation subside. Please take care of yourself. What you do in the next weeks can come back to haunt you permanently. I know you don't want that. Let others do things for the time being. OK
Feel better soon

Re: Increase in bleeding?!

Hi fep,
you need to take it easy. We all heal differently but you definately need to slow down. The bleeding should be ok,but if you are at all concerned put in a call to your doctor or whoever is on call for the weekend. When I was overdoing it my drs office told me as long as I wasn't soaking a pad in 1-2 hours it was not an emergency.I also had other post op problems at the same time and was in touch with the office frequently.

Re: Increase in bleeding?!

The bleeding has slowed today, and I'm still a bit tender, but feeling better. No more changing flats for me, well, in the next 5 weeks anyway, lol

Re: Increase in bleeding?!

Good to hear your feeling better. Try to remember to take it easy, it gets more difficult when your feeling good. Maybe you should teach your husband how to change the flats or AAA for the next year. Don't want to mess up your insides over something silly, right?
