bleeding after sex

I had a laprascopic supercervical hysterectomy on 5/11/09. I kept my cervix and right ovary. Since then I have unfortunately become one of the few that have mini periods. Last month I spotted for 3 days. Last Friday I started spotting again(on time for a period) and had my pap exam that day also. I got a clean bill of health from my gyn and was told that if my mini periods got heavier or changed to let him know and he could do a leep procedure. Any way I only spotted Friday and Saturday. My husband and I had sex last night and as gross to talk about this is as it is - the discharge had was tinged with pink blood. I am also still bleeding this morning. When I had mini periods before it was brown spotting. This is actually red blood. We have had sex many times since my surgery and never a problem. today I am crampy and spotting red. Do you think it could be that I was irritated from the pap smear and didn't finish my cycle or something? I don't want to worry because he said everything was fine 5 days ago, but it alarms me. I'm hoping that my mini periods aren't going to turn in to regular periods again. Any advice?

I would check with your dr but i know spoting after a pap specialy with sex involved can cause spotting. good luck
