Can i still get pregnant without my uterus?

I had a Hysterectomy Due to excessive bleeding after i gave birth to my beautiful little girl! I had my uterus and part of my cervix taken out... but i still have my ovaries.... the doctor said it was not possible for me to get pregnant but latly i have been cramping and its been 3 1/2 months since my surgery and i keep thinking im going to end up with a tubal pregnancy does anybody no if this is possible?

Hello! to HysterSisters!

I'm glad you found this site so you can ask questions and share support with others who have also had surgery.

Once everything is healed after surgery there is a natural barrier that prevents the eggs and sperm from joining. You're not left with an open hole at the top of the vagina. Have you let your doctor know about the cramping? Some women do experience phantom pains after surgery so perhaps that's what you are feeling.
