Vagina Cuff Stitches

How long did it take you for your vaginal cuff stitches to come out? Did you notice when they came out, any tingling near vagina area?

Re: Vagina Cuff Stitches

I broke one of mine comming down the stairs around 2 weeks post op and started bleeding and went and saw my doctor cause I thought I did something horrible and he said they would dissolve in a few weeks on their own ( the ones that were left anyway) so you might want to ask your doctor if he used the kind that dissolve.

Re: Vagina Cuff Stitches

That answers my question. I spotted a bit last night. Hoping that's all it is.

Re: Vagina Cuff Stitches

I was told that they usually come out between 4 & 6 weeks. I never did see mine come out but I have had no problems. I still even now have what feels like an itch at the top of my vagina but it goes away really fast. I guess it is that time of the month?

Re: Vagina Cuff Stitches

At 3 weeks 2 days post op, I saw some gray stuff in the toilet and then slight cramping and spotting the next day.

Re: Vagina Cuff Stitches

I'm a little over 4 weeks post op and I haven't seen anything. I was told that I may or may not see them. I have had an occassional itch, but I figure that was just healing.
